Why We Built This Site
Georgia gives the public broad access to many court records, but the access path depends on the court and record type. The Clerk of Superior & State Courts handles Superior Court and State Court records. Probate Court handles estates, wills, marriage licenses, guardianships, conservatorships, and some sensitive proceedings. Recorder's Court handles many Columbus traffic matters, while the Sheriff's Office manages jail and law-enforcement records. We pull together the contact details, search portals, fee notes, and request steps for these Muscogee County offices into one place.

Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
